Amy Higgins Stambaugh, the fiber artist behind Woolcrush, works with hand-dyed wool cultivated and harvested from plants that she grows or forages. She is currently learning the cultural and historical traditions of processing a farm fleece into yarn and fabric. Community-minded and inspired by the modern pioneering spirit, she is also the owner of a rural Missouri property, which she shares with others for community events and workshops.
